BridgeMind One for macOS
Install the signed and notarized universal BridgeMind One release on macOS 26, manage permissions, and keep the app up to date.
BridgeMind One is available for macOS 26 or later as a signed and notarized universal app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Download and Install
- Download the latest universal DMG.
- Open the downloaded DMG.
- Move BridgeMind to Applications.
- Open BridgeMind from Applications and complete sign-in in your browser. The installed app uses the shorter name, while the product remains BridgeMind One.
| Requirement | Support |
|---|---|
| Operating system | macOS 26 or later |
| Apple silicon | Supported |
| Intel | Supported through the same universal download |
| Internet | Required for sign-in, hosted AI work, plugins, and transcription |
Sign-In and Access
The first time you open the app, BridgeMind One opens your browser for authentication. Complete the flow with an entitled account, then return to the app.
If the account is not entitled, BridgeMind One shows an upgrade screen instead of mounting the workspace.
Permissions
Core Agent, Code, and Chat workflows do not need global input permissions. Dictation adds two macOS permissions:
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Microphone | Capture speech for hosted Together Whisper transcription |
| Accessibility | Observe the global Fn gesture and place text into the focused app |
Manage them in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Only grant permissions to the installed BridgeMind app you recognize.
Third-Party Engines
BridgeMind One detects supported coding-agent command-line apps already installed in your normal login shell. It does not bundle them.
Claude Code and Codex have chat adapters for Agent chats, Chat Mode, and conversation-style Code threads. Other detected coding agents run in terminal sessions.
Updates
BridgeMind One checks for signed updates through its built-in updater. When an update is ready, follow the in-app prompt to install it.
You can also download the current universal DMG again. Installing a newer release over the existing app does not require a separate Apple silicon or Intel choice.

Troubleshooting
The app returns to the sign-in screen
Complete authentication in the same macOS account, allow the browser to return to BridgeMind One, and retry from the app if the callback was interrupted.
An engine does not appear
Install the engine's command-line app, confirm it works in a normal login shell, then reopen the engine picker so BridgeMind One can check again.
Fn dictation works only when the app is focused
Confirm Accessibility permission for BridgeMind One, then quit and reopen the app.
The app reports that an update is available
Save or stop active work, then follow the in-app update prompt. Treat running terminal processes as active work before restarting.
